Pacific Eye is proud to announce the beginning of their second annual Pac Eye Gives Back Challenge. This online contest aims to promote and support non-profit organizations on the Central Coast who make our home such an amazing place to be. Pacific Eye wants the community’s input to donate $10,000 in total contributions before the holidays.

Earlier this fall, the community nominated dozens of non-profit organizations. Since then, our team has selected causes close to our hearts and vital to the neighborhoods we serve. Now, we’re looking to the public to vote for their favorite of the following organizations:

• Achievement House, Inc.
• ARTS Obispo
• Big Brothers Big Sisters of SLO County
• Boys and Girls Club of Norther SLO County
• Central Coast Aquarium
• Food Bank Coalition of SLO County
• Lompoc YMCA
• Project Surf Camp
• Orcutt Academy High School Boosters
• Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation

The public can vote by liking the Pacific Eye Facebook page at Click the contest tab and vote for your favorite organization once each day through Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 2013. Community members can also vote once a day at their local Pacific Eye office with written ballots. Along the way, we’ll highlight each cause on our Facebook page to help the public get to know these wonderful non-profits.

The organization with the most votes at the end of the contest will win a $5,000 donation. Second place receives $2,250 and third place receives $1,000. All other organizations in the contest will be given a $250 donation. Checks will be presented to each organization in December.
