Ahmad A. Amir, MD
"One of the things I enjoy most about being an ophthalmologist is the long-term relationships I've developed with my patients. Improving vision makes such an immediate and profound difference in the quality of a person's life."
Dr. Amir is a board-certified ophthalmologist and has been an active Central Coast resident since 1998. He enjoys building long-term relationships with his patients and helping them improve their quality of life through better vision.
Dr. Amir is accomplished in the field of LASIK and cataract surgery, having performed surgery on thousands of patients, including many physicians in the community. He also has specialized training in refractive surgery, including radial keratotomy (RK) and laser vision correction. One of his satisfied LASIK patients is his wife, Mary, who is a board-certified neurologist practicing in San Luis Obispo.
